Women's Blood – Women's Culture in Villach
In the framework of its 8th Women's Cultural Festival, the Women's Affairs Section of the City of Villach has launched an innovate and exciting cooperative project with the Gynecological Department of the Villach Regional Hospital.The cooperation of the Women's Affairs Section of the city with the Villach art galleries, which has proven successful, will be continued this year, as well. In addition to galleries "Freihausgasse", "Unart" and "Lücke", galleries "MA" and "White8" will join in for the first time this year. A number of renowned artists will show their work in Villach, providing an insight into their artistic creativity. Further highlights of the progamme include three interesting and very impressive theatre evenings at the Bambergsaal of the Parkhotel and the opening.

Mittwoch 28. September, 20 Uhr, Congress Center:
Eröffnungs- und Publikumsabend des Internationalen Kongresses "Menstruation und Endometriose";
"Frauengesundheit im 21. Jahrhundert. Menstruation und Frauenbild im westlichen Kulturkreis - Rückblick und Ausblick":
Aus der Sicht der Historikerin Professorin Dr.in Barbara Duden (Uni Hannover); aus der Sicht des Mediziners Professor DDr. Johannes Huber (Uni-Klinik Wien); Moderation Professorin Dr.in Beate Wimmer-Puchinger (Ludwig-Boltzmann-Institut). Eintritt frei!

* Mittwoch, 28. September, Donnerstag und
Freitag macht auf dem Rathausplatz eine "Menstruationshütte" mit den verschiedensten Veranstaltungen auf sich aufmerksam.
* Donnerstag, 29. September, 20 Uhr: Galerieabend
in der Freihausgasse, Unart, MA, Lücke und White8.
* Dienstag, 4. Oktober, 20 Uhr, Bambergsaal:
"Ohne Abschied" (Theaterstück).
