28 October 2008 - FemCities: Expert conference on reducing the gender pay gap
This year’s FemCities conference asks “How can we close the gender pay gap?” and “Who will benefit?”. Experts from the fields of administration, business and science will present current facts and figures, scientific findings as well as European models and approaches to the relevant players. Various options administration and business have to close the gender pay gap will also be discussed.

Ten years have passed since the launch of the East-West women’s network MILENA in 1997. Cooperating with cities in Central Europe, especially in Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, the network now expands its activities to cities within the entire European Union.FemCities has taken over from the MILENA network: FemCities - European cities networking for gender equality.
