From Policy to Practice
This report covers the period from May 2004, the beginning of the term of the first Special Representative on Combating Trafficking against Human Beings, Ms. Helga Konrad, and the establishment of the Anti-Trafficking Assistance Unit of the OSCE, through May 2006.First, the report addresses national efforts to combat trafficking in the OSCE states as well as challenges met by the states that served as basis for recommendations for future policies. Thereafter the report presents overall conclusions based on the analysis on the implementation of the OSCE Action Plan against trafficking.
