Gender Mainstreaming in EU Member States
The project "Implementing Gender Mainstreaming at Governmental Level in the EU Member States" set up in 2005 aimed at contributing to further develop strategies and tools to implement gender mainstreaming at governmental level in EU member states by collecting, analysing and disseminating best practices of gender mainstreaming.Finland, Lithuania, Portugal and Sweden participated in the project and in-depth analysis was carried out in the four countries; initiatives on gender mainstreaming at governmental level were analysed in all EU member states. Main conclusions and recommendations for future work conclude the report.
