Natalia Fernandez Diaz

Natalia Fernandez Diaz is Ph.D in Linguistics, translator of 6 languages, author of several works on gender violence and professor of intercultural and international communication at the Free University of Barcelona.

She is also the director and creator of First International Center of Women’s Memories, Biographies and Testimonies.
The project has three different channels. One of them is a database of biographies of women from all over the world. The other section will be the one related to memories, stories, testimonies, etc. Here you can find a real collage of materials, voices, painters, poems, textx etc. The third channel is an archive with pictures. Pictures from current women but also with the faces of our grandmothers, and containing some information about what they did, where they were from etc. All this will be available on the Internet – we are creating a virtual space to meet each other.
